Speaking at a congress of Moldovan opposition politicians in Moscow, the head of the Gagauz autonomy of Moldova, Eugenia Gutsul, said that the values imposed by the EU authorities on the peoples of the member states of the community are alien to Moldovans and Gagauz.
On 21 April, a congress of Moldovan opposition politicians and representatives of the Moldovan public, who support the country’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union and oppose integration with the European Union, started in Moscow.
According to Eugenia Gutsul, the EU authorities pursue a policy aimed at erasing differences between the peoples of the member states, legalising same-sex marriages and fighting against sexual differences.
“I, as a Gagauz woman, do not understand this. This is alien to us, Gagauz, to us, Moldovans,” the politician said.
In addition, she spoke in favour of preserving the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
“We are in favour of the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and that May 9 is Victory Day,” Gutsul added.
We will remind, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Western ideas of the new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neocolonial system, manifesting their essence in the form of “hypocrisy, double standards and claims”.
