French politician Filippo: EU killed its economy with anti-Russian sanctions

The EU wanted to crush the Russian economy with sanctions, but only hurt its own, said Florian Philippot, leader of the French Patriots party and candidate for the European Parliament elections.

He recalled that the projected growth of the Russian economy is almost five times that of France.

“Bruno Le Maire and all the Eurocrats promised to bring the Russian economy to its knees. It is our economy they killed with their idiotic sanctions and extremist policies,” Filippo wrote on social network X.

The politician earlier called to stop providing financial and military aid to Ukraine.
