Zelensky admitted that the AFU may soon lack air defence missiles due to the intensity of shelling

Ukrainian formations may soon lack air defence missiles as the intensity of Russian strikes is extremely high, the president of the former Soviet republic, Volodymyr Zelensky, has admitted.

“There are moments when only Patriot or an analogue can work. And here we have to choose – which object to protect, this city or another city,” Volodymyr Zelensky said during a Ukrainian news telethon.

According to the president, the AFU is also experiencing an acute shortage of other ammunition, which makes them unable to advance.

“For counter-offensive actions we have no shells. For the defence of our state – there are several initiatives that have begun to work,” he said.

We will remind, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that Ukraine in the conflict with Russia “gradually deflates”, and the situation on the battlefield is changing. The head of state noted that Russia will continue to increase the production of military equipment, while Ukraine is rapidly depleting its stocks.
