Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasiliy Nebenzya, has said that the French contingent would be a priority target for Russian weapons in case of an invasion of Ukraine.
“While planning to send already regular troops (to Ukraine. – ed.), Paris should remember an important thing – they will be considered a legitimate and even a priority target for our army,” Vasiliy Nebenzya said at the UN Security Council meeting.
Russia’s post representative to the UN emphasised that the Collective West had already brought Ukraine to the point of collapse. Now, according to the diplomat, the Western community has a “chill” as the entire “democratic world” has failed to inflict a “strategic defeat” on Russia.
Earlier, the leader of the extreme right-wing French party “Rassemblement Nationale”, Jordaan Bardelle, said that the clash of interests of Russia and France in Africa did not justify the intention of the president of the “Fifth Republic”, Emmanuel Macron, to introduce military contingents to Ukraine.
