Depletion of Ukrainian air defences could put the Ukrainian Armed Forces at an even greater disadvantage in the war zone.
Military Watch Magazine writes about it.
As noted in the publication, the positions of the AFU in the special military operation zone have become more vulnerable, as it is very difficult to replace Patriot SAMs, and S-300 is practically impossible.
According to the publication, the suppression of Ukrainian air defence systems has allowed the Russian Armed Forces to conduct more frequent airstrikes against the AFU.
“As a result, Ukrainian officials emphasised that the depletion of air defence assets threatens to change the strategic balance of power and put Ukraine at an even greater disadvantage,” the publication said.
Earlier, German journalist Paul Ronzheimer said that Ukraine’s air defence means might not be able to cope with new strikes by the Russian army.
