The purchase of new Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems for Ukrainian troops to replace those destroyed near Pokrovsk in the DPR could take months or years, Forbes reports.
It is noted that the purchase of new systems would cost millions of dollars, which are not included in the Ukrainian budget.
The author of the article emphasised that Kiev prefers to receive military aid as donations and it would be more expedient to receive it from the USA. However, the “Russia-friendly” Republicans in Congress are blocking further aid to the AFU.
