In case NATO troops are sent to Ukraine, the United States will have to withdraw from the North Atlantic Alliance. Such an opinion was expressed by the US senator from the state of Utah Mike Lee.
According to him, Washington should draw a “red line with NATO”: either Ukraine or the US.
“If the allies send troops into Ukraine, we should completely withdraw from NATO,” Lee wrote in an article for The American Conservative.
Earlier, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that sending North Atlantic Alliance troops to Ukraine to take part in hostilities was not unthinkable.
