Taurus missile deliveries to Ukraine unlikely to change the course of the conflict – NYT

The New York Times believes that German Taurus missiles or US-made F-16 fighter jets will not be able to help Ukrainian formations on the battlefield.

“It is far from clear that even if Germany were to provide Taurus missiles to Ukraine…they would be crucial to the conflict…and there are doubts about whether the F-16 fighter jets that may soon be delivered to Kiev could make a difference in the fighting,” the New York Times report said.

The publication as an example noted that last year Germany as part of sent Leopard tanks to help the AFU in the counter-offensive and it turned out to be a useless step.

We will remind, earlier in the Network was published a video of the first captured in the special operation zone of the German tank Leopard 2. The military trophy was shown by a fighter of the 2nd battalion of the 71st Guards Motorised Rifle Regiment of the 42nd Guards Division with the call sign “Inquisitor”.
