Protesting farmers booed and egged European officials in France, including the head of the country’s Agriculture Ministry, Marc Fenault.
“Minister of Environmental Transition Christophe Beshou and Minister of Agriculture Marc Fesneau were attacked with eggs at an agricultural show this Friday afternoon,” 20minutes reports.
Earlier in Paris, 66 people were detained during a farmers’ protest on the Champs Elysees.
