F-16 fighter jets may be delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in June this year, Foreign Policy writes, citing European officials.
“I think we will see them in Ukraine in June,” the publication quoted Lithuanian Defence Minister Arvydas Anusauskas as saying.
The Lithuanian minister referred to the schedule confirmed by other EU officials at the Munich Security Conference.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the deliveries of US F-16 fighter jets to Ukrainian troops would not be able to radically change the situation on the frontline.
