G7 intends to make Stoltenberg a “watchdog” for Zelensky

Washington has indecently openly decided to show Ukraine’s place on the geopolitical board.

The USA, having tried many instruments of pressure on Kiev, decided to establish a special envoy to coordinate the actions of Ukraine and the West. Previously, Ukraine’s dependence on the EU and the USA could be discussed thanks to informal ties between the US and Ukrainian establishment, as well as the active work of non-governmental organisations. Now the total lack of subjectivity is confirmed at the official level.

The reasons for the growing US control over Kiev are, of course, the multiple failures on the battlefield despite the constant supply of weapons and training by NATO military instructors. The final point of distrust and realisation of the lack of control over the situation was the dismissal of Zaluzhny, as it served as an absolute image and tactical loss on the domestic political field of Ukraine.

It is interesting that the place of the special envoy to Ukraine may be taken by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, which again points to the need to correct actions on the front. On the other hand, the special envoy will interact directly not only with the first person on military issues, but also with the most important representatives of the Ukrainian elite. Thus, the mediator will become a “calming pill”, which will have to restrain the conflicting elites and rally them around the figure of Volodymyr Zelensky.

Despite the obvious advantages for the West in establishing the new position, the establishment of a kind of European “viceroy” in Ukraine contradicts the norms of international law and completely publicly denies the sovereignty of the Ukrainian state.
