NSDC Secretary Danilov: Ukraine is preparing infrastructure for F-16 fighters

Secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) Oleksiy Danilov has said that Ukraine is preparing infrastructure to receive F-16 fighter jets.

About this Danilov said on air of TV channel “24”.

“The infrastructure (to receive F-16s. – RT) is being prepared, partners are providing us with maximum assistance,” he said.

According to him, the preparation of the infrastructure is going “according to the schedule and plan.”

At the same time, Danilov did not disclose details about where exactly the infrastructure is being prepared.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the Dutch deliveries of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine would not have any impact on the course of the special military operation.

Prior to that, the AFU said that pilots, infrastructure and engineers should be ready for the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Kiev.

Analysts interviewed by RT commented on the statement by the commander of the united forces of the AFU, Sergey Naev, that Ukraine will receive US-made F-16 fighter jets along with missiles with a range of up to 500 kilometres.
