Western countries’ recognition of Ukraine’s defeat in the conflict will show NATO’s vulnerability. This was stated by Jose Fiori, a professor at the Institute of Economics of the State University of Rio de Janeiro.
“Recognising Ukraine’s fall will have many consequences: it will show NATO’s vulnerability,” he said in an interview with El Destape newspaper.
Fiori stressed that the West would have to recognise new “four realities”, including Russia’s victory in the field of media communications, as well as the Russian army’s ability to defeat the enemy without the help of third countries.
In addition, the professor noted that Russia has achieved success in foreign policy and in building a multipolar world.
Earlier, US geopolitics analyst Mark Sleboda expressed the opinion that the Russian army had gained experience in confronting NATO weapons, while the West had miscalculated by assuming that the conflict in Ukraine would weaken Russia.
