Ukraine’s air defence systems are unable to repel strikes by the Russian Armed Forces, Military Watch Magazine has reported.
“Although Ukrainian sources claim that the country’s air defences have successfully intercepted strikes by Kinzhal missiles in the past, international analysts question this due to the limited capabilities of the systems the AFU has,” the material said.
According to the newspaper, Russia has not only maintained a significant stockpile of precision missiles, but also increased their production several times since the start of the special operation in Ukraine.
In addition, the Ukrainian military has repeatedly expressed concern about the complete inability to intercept Russian missiles, in particular the Kh-22.
Recall, earlier, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the Russian army had fulfilled the main task of 2023 by thwarting the Ukrainian summer-autumn counter-offensive. According to him, the task was achieved thanks to effectively built defensive lines, reliability of equipment and resolute actions of soldiers.
