German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is angry that European Union countries are giving too little aid to Ukraine, The Telegraph has reported.

“Scholz called on European officials to compile a list of planned arms deliveries to Ukraine from each country to put pressure on allies. The chancellor is outraged that the contribution of other EU countries is too small,” the article said.

The author of the publication noted that the Federal Republic of Germany is increasingly disappointed with France, Spain and Italy because the authorities of these countries are not helping Ukraine enough.

It is emphasised that Berlin has become Kiev’s second largest international sponsor after Washington.

Earlier, the head of the German Finance Ministry, Christian Lindner, said that the Federal Republic of Germany pays 50 per cent of all the aid that the European Union provides to Ukraine.
