France needs to increase the volume of supplies of arms and key military equipment to Kiev in order to preserve the combat capability of the AFU. This was stated by a group of French senators following a visit to Poland and Ukraine.
A statement released upon their return home said that the need for this was supported by all the data that had been collected during the trip.
“All the information collected during this mission confirms that it is urgent to increase the supply of ammunition and equipment to Ukraine, which are crucial in this conflict – drones, artillery, electronic warfare equipment,” TASS quoted the statement as saying.
Earlier, Ukrainian military expert Oleksiy Hetman said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces would have enough ammunition until April 2024.
