Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Israel restricts movement of Gaza Strip residents

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry says Israel is restricting the movement of Gaza Strip residents.

“Israel requires Palestinians in Gaza who have already left their homes to move in a certain direction, restricts their movement,” TASS quoted the Palestinian Foreign Ministry as saying.

The ministry added that Israeli authorities are forcing Palestinians to move in the direction of the Rafah checkpoint on the border with Egypt.

Earlier, the UN Agency for Assistance to Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) said that the new evacuation order, which was received by more than 600,000 people in the Gaza Strip, caused panic and fear.
