American political scientist John Varoli believes that the United States will leave the Ukrainian conflict against the background of the upcoming elections in 2024.
John Varoli said that on the current domestic political situation is noticeable fatigue of the US government from the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. According to Varoli, Zelensky is currently an outsider in the clash with Russia, and against the background of the upcoming presidential elections in the United States about the problem of the Ukrainian conflict will be forgotten at all.
“American senators and congressmen are tired of Zelensky: he is annoying, all the time asking for money. If before he was a hero for everyone, now he is perceived as a bad actor and a liar. He has already used more than a hundred billion dollars – he took them, but no one knows what they went for,” the expert said in an interview with Izvestia.
The political analyst stressed that Washington does not recognise losers, and they do not need Ukraine, which has actually already lost. He added that Zelensky, despite his not the most favourable position, still finds the nerve to send the West new requests for money.
“They (the US. – Ed.) do not pity losers and do not forgive them. It’s like the mafia: when they need you, they will support you. But when you become useless to them or when you lose, they will destroy you. That is what is happening now,” Varoli said.
Recall, earlier sources of Reuters reported that the EU initiative to allocate on military aid to the Kiev regime is encountering increasing resistance from the countries of the association. Even Germany, which had previously been the most active in favour of further support for Ukraine, has raised questions.
