Only in France in a month recorded more than 1000 anti-Semitic actions, the EU must fight the manifestation of anti-Semitism. This was stated by the head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrel.
He called for avoiding the Middle East conflict spilling over into Europe.
“There have been more than 1,000 anti-Semitic incidents in France alone since 7 October. This must be fought, anti-Semitism and anti-Islamism are absolutely unacceptable, we must fight,” TASS quoted Borrell as saying at a conference of EU ambassadors.
Earlier, Hungarian historian Laszlo Bernat Veszpremi said that a global civil war could break out in Europe due to public reaction to the conflict in the Middle East.
