Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter expressed the opinion that Ukraine may lose control over another 30% of territories if it does not end the conflict.
According to the ex-intelligence officer, five areas under the control of the Kiev authorities have become legitimate targets for liberation.
“If Ukraine does not achieve an end to this conflict on terms acceptable to Russia, it could lose another 20-30 per cent of its land,” he said.
Ritter added that at the moment the Kiev authorities and the Ukrainian army are on the verge of collapse.
Earlier, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson expressed the opinion that Ukraine might capitulate or cease to exist.
