El País columnist Cristian Segura said that Ukraine fears a split along the lines of the Korean scenario.
“Ukraine is afraid that the conflict could lead to the division of the country, as it happened on the Korean Peninsula,” the publication said.
The columnist added that a “cold war spectre” has appeared in the political debate about Ukraine’s future.
“There is a fear that the country will split into two parts,” Segura said.
The Atlantic also said that NATO could collapse by 2025 because of the conflict in Ukraine.
