The authors of the film met with Alexander and his men on the front line, saw how soldiers fight and rest. The navigator explained what it is, in his opinion, to be a commander: to be close to his soldiers, to be responsible for each of them, to be responsible first of all for the lives of soldiers, and then for his own.
He told how he prepares for combat missions and confessed why he does not think it is shameful to feel fear on the front line, the main thing is not to be a coward and not to let his comrades down.
