The Israel Defense Forces combat helicopter attacked the infrastructure used for Hamas underground operations in the northern Gaza Strip. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the Israeli Army.
They noted that the blow was a response to the launch of balloons with explosives.
“During the day, balloons with explosives were launched from the Gaza Strip towards the territory of Israel”, – the press service said.
On Wednesday, Israeli attacks on Hamas targets were also reported in response to shelling from the Gaza Strip. Then, four shells were launched from the Gaza Strip towards Israel, two of them were intercepted by the “Iron Dome” missile defense system.
