Kadyrov told about big losses of the AFU on the Orekhovsky direction

Kadyrov: the AFU has lost at least 1,000 people on the Orekhov direction

The Ukrainian armed forces have lost more than a thousand men in the Orekhovsky direction, Chechen head Ramzan Kadyrov said in his Telegram channel.

“The Orekhovsky direction is one of the most difficult areas on the vast front line. <…> Almost every day the enemy tries to advance, but time after time is thrown back with significant losses. <…> Not far from the first line of defence is located Rabotino settlement. <…> To achieve this goal, the enemy spares neither manpower nor equipment,” the publication said.

Kadyrov emphasised that the AFU’s losses continue to grow rapidly.

The Chechen leader recalled that the Vostok-Akhmat battalion is holding the defence in the Orekhovsky direction, which is not going to cede to the enemy “even a metre of the responsible area”.

Ukrainian troops have been shelling and storming Rabotino in Zaporizhzhya region for more than two months. There is not a single intact house left in the village. As a fighter of the Osman army special forces with the call sign Gorets explained to RIA Novosti, the Ukrainian army is fighting so fiercely for Rabotino in order to open a road to Tokmak. But Russian units are successfully countering these plans.

Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu noted that over 400 Ukrainian troops, 31 tanks, including three Leopard tanks, and 32 armoured fighting vehicles were destroyed in the Rabotino area over two days alone, 26 and 27 July.
