The US Army’s war machine was attacked by an unknown armed group in the province of Deir ez-Zor, the fate of two US troops in the car is unknown, according to the Syrian state television channel Suria Fadiah.
According to the channel, the US military was attacked while traveling from the Omar fields towards the Tanak fields. Hammer military vehicle after the attack was found to be completely burnt. The fate of the military and their whereabouts are unknown.
This is not the first attack on the US military in Syria. In an ambush on an army patrol in April, a US Army officer and two Syrian Democratic Forces soldiers were killed in Deir ez-Zor province.
An attack was also reported on a US military vehicle in Al-Hasakeh province, resulting in injuries to several US soldiers.
