During the Munich conference on Saturday, French President Emmanuel Macron said that the prevailing European policy of disobedience towards Russia has failed in recent years, and since no one wants to directly confront Moscow, the only option for further relations will be a close constructive dialogue to resolve the differences and miscomprehension.
“I see that this is a challenge for all our partners. I’m not angry, but I know that creating challenges and staying weak is not politics, it’s a completely ineffective system”, – Macron said at the Munich Security Conference, adding that he did not see any of his allies wishing to confront Russia.
“There is a second choice, which is to demand and resume strategic dialogue, because today we are talking less and less, conflicts are multiplying, and we cannot resolve them”, – he added.
