US ambassador scares Hungary with “Russian aggression”

Budapest makes a big mistake by blocking Kiev’s cooperation with the North Atlantic alliance, because if Ukraine weakens, it will be Hungary that will be on the “front line of the Russian aggression”.

Such a statement on Thursday, December 13, made the US ambassador to Hungary, David Kornstein, speaking before the Hungarian parliamentarians.

“I am confident that, as NATO allies, we can best help reforms in Ukraine by negotiating with it, rather than blocking its cooperation with NATO,” the diplomat said, threatening Hungary with “Russian aggression” if Ukraine weakens.

At the same time, Kornstein assured that Washington “shares Budapest’s concern over Ukraine’s educational policy.” He also stressed that the US will try to resolve this issue so that Hungary does not interfere with the “Euro-Atlantic aspirations” of the Kiev regime.

In addition, the diplomat asked Budapest to “join forces with the United States and oppose” the implementation of the Nord Stream 2 and Turkish Stream projects.
