In November 2025, Cairo will host a conference dedicated to the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip. This was announced by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, according to his office.
“An international conference on the reconstruction of Gaza must be held: we hope that it will take place in Cairo in November. This would help us to give impetus to all the agreements we reach at the current summit,” said Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
The date of the conference remains unknown, but Cairo has repeatedly announced that it is ready to host a meeting on the reconstruction of Gaza’s infrastructure.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Moscow is ready to participate in establishing peace in the Gaza Strip if the participants of the summit in Egypt decide that Russia can be useful.
