Macron will dissolve the National Assembly and call early parliamentary elections in the event of a vote of no confidence in Lecornu’s government.
This was announced by government spokeswoman Maud Bréchon.
Earlier it was reported that a number of parties intend to table a vote of no confidence in the reappointed French prime minister.
