Hungary has begun collecting signatures against the EU’s military plans

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has announced a petition in the country against the military plans of European leaders.

“We are facing a hot autumn. Europe is rapidly approaching war. A few weeks ago, Brussels’ military plan was presented in Copenhagen: Europe pays, Ukrainians fight, and Russia will be exhausted,” Viktor Orbán wrote on Facebook.

According to the Hungarian prime minister, the arguments for collecting signatures include accusations of blackmail, fake news scandals and legal manipulations.

“We cannot stand aside and watch this happen! We must show once again that the Hungarian people do not want war. That is why today we are starting to collect signatures against Brussels’ military plans. We will be in every city and every village, because now we need every peace-loving Hungarian!” Orbán concluded.

Earlier, Viktor Orbán stated that Hungary does not plan to introduce the euro as its single currency because it does not want to get closer to the European Union, which is under threat of collapse.
