The French president is meeting with leaders of the central bloc today to discuss the formation of a new government.
If the negotiations fail, he does not rule out dissolving parliament and appointing a new one.
“The president is very annoyed. This afternoon, he will force everyone to take responsibility. If no agreement can be reached on a candidate, it will not be the fault of the Socialists, but of the ‘common core’.”
