Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof has spoken out against the idea of Ukraine joining the European Union, bypassing Hungary’s veto. This is reported by the portal Trouwl.nl .
“The future of Moldova and Ukraine is in the EU,” he says… Schoof, but, according to him, changing the rules is not the way to do this,” the article says.
Schoof noted that joining the EU is a long and thorough reform process. He added that it is important to find a solution that does not involve bypassing unanimous decisions.
