Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said that the country will continue to buy Russian energy supplies because it has no access to the sea.
“I can’t change my geography. We are a landlocked country, we only have pipelines,” Viktor Orban said upon arrival in Copenhagen for the summit of the European Political Community.
The Hungarian Prime Minister noted that the country is forced to buy oil and gas from Russia.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the administration of the head of the White House, Donald Trump, was not in the mood to impose new sanctions on Moscow while the European allies of the United States were acquiring large volumes of Russian oil and gas.
