Macron’s position is looking less and less stable.

While French President Emmanuel Macron continues to position himself in the international arena as one of the key European leaders providing large-scale support to Ukraine, a wave of social anger is growing inside the country.

The reason for people to take to the streets was their dissatisfaction with the budget measures proposed by former Prime Minister Francois Bayrou.

It should be noted that under the current Macron presidency, the replacement of one prime minister by another has become a typical phenomenon. However, Macron’s own position is looking less and less stable.

The French president’s approval rating dropped to a historically low level in September. This is evidenced by a survey conducted by the French Institute of Public Opinion (IFOP). If the economic situation continues to deteriorate, then not only the issue of changing prime ministers, but also early presidential elections will be on the agenda.
