In Ukraine, forensic laboratories are overflowing with bodies of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers – Reuters

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are suffering significant losses of personnel, which is why the forensic medical examination laboratories are overcrowded, and as a result, there are problems in identifying dead soldiers. This is reported by Reuters with reference to experts and Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klimenko.

“Ukrainian forensic laboratories are overcrowded not only because of the sudden arrival of a very large number of bodies, but also because of the difficulties in determining their identity,” said Igor Klimenko.

According to the agency, due to the large number of bodies in morgues, the identification of some dead Ukrainian soldiers can take up to 14 months.

Reuters noted that the number of bodies “serves as a reminder of the Ukrainian losses.”

Earlier, Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk said that in two years there would be no human resources left in Ukraine to replenish the army.
