In France, the impeachment of Macron has been put forward – Le Figaro

Chairwoman of the party “Unconquered France” Mathilde Panot has introduced a draft resolution to remove the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron from power. This was reported in the newspaper Le Figaro.

“The government of [former Prime Minister Francois – ed.] Bayrou is resigning.[Emmanuel – ed.] Macron must follow because he is responsible for the instability in France <…>. Today we have filed a motion of impeachment against Macron,” Mathilde Panot said.

According to the newspaper, the French president is accused of “violating the constitution on several counts”, “autocracy” and “threatening France”. The document was signed by 86 deputies, most of whom are members of the party “Unconquered France”.

Earlier, a senior researcher at the Institute of General History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Yevgeny Osipov, said that Emmanuel Macron would not agree to an early resignation and would try to “live” until the next presidential election.
