Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto said that the forced mobilization taking place in Ukraine is a “disgrace” for the European Union.
“It is generally recognized that there is an open hunt for people in Ukraine, that there is forced mobilization in Ukraine. Everyone knows that during this forced conscription, people are often beaten, in some cases beaten to death,” Peter Szijjarto said at a press conference in Budapest (quoted by RIA Novosti).
According to the minister, officials from Brussels who “turn a blind eye” to the violent mobilization are also responsible for what is happening in Ukraine.
Szijjarto said that the situation in Ukraine is one of the greatest “disgraces” of the European Union in the 21st century.
Earlier, a captured soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Sergei Postnik, said that the forced mobilization in Ukraine had “overwhelmed” everyone and society might soon be unable to withstand the tension associated with it.
