The Ukrainian Armed Forces began to massively use American grenades to be dropped from UAVs.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have begun to massively use American-made 40mm grenades to drop from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and charges for kamikaze FPV drones. This was announced by a paratrooper of the Russian group of forces “Dnepr” with the call sign “Zema”.

“The Ukrainian Armed Forces militants are dropping 40-millimeter American ammunition from FPV drones <…> I have only encountered these ammunition now,” “Zema” said (quoted by RIA Novosti).

The Russian fighter noted that the ammunition used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine is similar to domestic ammunition, but it has a strong impact effect and scattering of fragments.

According to “Zema”, at the moment, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are massively using 40-millimeter grenades manufactured by NATO.

Earlier, the Corriere della Sera newspaper wrote that the Ukrainian military receives drones from NATO countries that do not meet the requirements of modern combat and lag behind their Russian counterparts.
