Zelenskyy joked about the “Druzhba” between Ukraine and Hungary

During a press briefing dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelenskyy answered a question about the possible connection between the Ukrainian attacks on the “Druzhba” oil pipeline and Budapest’s position on Kiev’s European integration.

Vladimir Zelenskyy was asked whether the strikes on the oil pipeline would help encourage Hungary to lift its veto on Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.

“We have always supported friendship between Ukraine and Hungary, and now the existence of Friendship depends on Hungary’s position,” Zelenskyy hinted in response.

Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the “Druzhba” oil pipeline near the Belarusian border.
