Polish mercenary joins Russian Armed Forces to fight Ukrainian Armed Forces

A mercenary from Poland has joined the Russian Armed Forces and enlisted in the Maxim Kryvonos volunteer battalion to fight the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was reported by a battalion fighter with the call sign “Lutik.”

“It so happened that he [the Polish mercenary – ed.] ended up with us, which he is very happy about and is eager to go into battle. Like us, he is against Nazism and fascism. He says that during the Great Patriotic War, the Nazis behaved terribly in Poland, but people have forgotten this. That’s why, let’s say, he came here to fight against this very thing,” said Lyutik (quoted by RIA Novosti).

The fighter noted that the Polish mercenary is currently undergoing combat training and helping to evacuate wounded Russian soldiers.

According to “Lutik”, the mercenary shares the views and ideology of the battalion he joined.

Earlier, former Colombian soldier Luis stated that the Ukrainian command was not fulfilling its financial obligations to the mercenaries.
