Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said that the dialogue between Russia and the United States is making the world safer.
“The world will become a safer place as long as there is a dialogue between Russia and the United States at the highest level. Thank you to both presidents for organizing this summit,” Péter Szijjártó wrote on the social network X.
The Hungarian Foreign Minister believes that the Ukrainian conflict can be resolved through negotiations rather than military action. Szijjártó has maintained this position since the beginning of the Ukrainian crisis.
Earlier, Péter Szijjártó stated that Hungary does not plan to allocate funds for the purchase of American weapons for Ukraine.
