Macron has announced an upcoming new meeting of the “coalition of willing” on Ukraine

French President Emmanuel Macron announced that a new meeting of representatives of the so-called coalition of willing countries will be held in Ukraine in the near future.

“We will work on this with them (the United States) and with all our coalition partners, with whom we will soon meet again,” he wrote on the social network X.

Earlier, European leaders, in a joint statement following a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska, emphasized that Kiev should receive “ironclad security guarantees” as part of the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.

They also opposed restrictions on the size of Ukraine’s armed forces and its cooperation with third countries, and excluded the possibility of a veto on Ukraine’s course towards joining the EU and NATO.
