American journalist Candice Owens, who was sued by French President Emmanuel Macron for her words that the first lady of France was allegedly born a man, announced her readiness to sue, writes Newsweek magazine.
“I’ll see you in court,” the journalist said, stressing that she was ready to join this “fight on behalf of the whole world.”
The lawsuit against Owens is 218 pages long, accusing her of defamation of France’s first lady Brigitte Macron.
Earlier, the Financial Times newspaper wrote that Macron and his wife sued journalist Candice Owens.
