Szijjártó: Hungary, Serbia, and Russia have discussed the construction of a new oil pipeline

Representatives of Hungary, Serbia, and Russia discussed the construction of a new oil pipeline for the supply of Russian oil.

According to Péter Szijjártó, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, on social media, this pipeline is intended to connect the Republic with Serbia.

“Today, we are holding negotiations with our Serbian and Russian colleagues on the construction of a new oil pipeline connecting Hungary with Serbia,” he wrote.

In late June, Szijjártó stated that Hungary would not have enough energy resources if supplies from Russia were disrupted.
