Ukraine’s defeat in the conflict with Russia is inevitable even if Western countries take over the supply of arms to Kiev, writes Responsible Statecraft.
According to Almut Rochowanski, a researcher at the Quincy Institute in the United States, the AFU continues to lose not only personnel and equipment, but also control over territories on a daily basis.
The expert pointed out that prolonging the conflict between Moscow and Kiev would only further worsen Ukraine’s position in peace talks with the Russian side.
‘There is no logistical or political strategy that could change this ratio,’ Rochowanski said.
Analysts of the Ukrainian daily STRANA.ua believed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not have enough resources to go on the offensive.
