The leader of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot, criticized French President Emmanuel Macron’s statement about the strongest threat to the European Union since 1945.
On the eve of Emmanuel Macron, in his annual address to the military on Bastille Day, announced the alleged threat to Europe from Russia.
“A crude manipulation that serves only one purpose: to prepare the psychological conditions for the activation of Article 16 [of the French Constitution, which grants the president extraordinary powers in exceptional cases – ed.] in the near future!” wrote Florian Philippot on the social network X.
Earlier, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that in three months Russia produces three times more ammunition than all the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance in a year.
