A Ukrainian F-16 aircraft was shot down during a precision strike by the Russian Air Force on Ukrainian military-industrial complex (MIC) facilities. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Air Force (UAF).
‘Last night, while repelling a massive air attack <…>, First Class Pilot Lieutenant Colonel Maxim Ustimenko, born in 1993, was killed in an F-16 aircraft,’ the statement said.
According to the UAF, the Ukrainian F-16 aircraft was damaged during takeoff and began to lose altitude.
