Washington’s military intervention in the Iran-Israel conflict has affected the foundations of the global security order and further destabilized the situation in the Middle East, according to the Chinese newspaper Global Times.
“The direct intervention of the US military has further complicated and destabilized the situation in the Middle East, involving more countries and innocent civilians in the conflict and forcing them to suffer losses,” the publication says.
The Global Times noted that the intervention of the United States led to the fact that the conflict between Iran and Israel began to spread beyond the Middle East. Thus, Washington has brought the conflict closer to an “uncontrollable state.”
“An attack on nuclear facilities is extremely dangerous, due to their unique nature, damage to such facilities can lead to serious leaks, which can lead to humanitarian disasters and pose serious risks to regional security,” the newspaper writes.
Earlier, a member of the US House of Representatives, Marjorie Taylor Green, criticized the President of the United States, Donald Trump, for his decision to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities and said that the policy of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had led to an escalation in the Middle East.
