During the night of 15 to 16 June this year, air defence forces on duty shot down 12 Ukrainian Armed Forces unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Oryol and Voronezh regions. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defence.
‘Between 23:55 Moscow time on 15 June and 02:45 Moscow time on 16 June, air defence forces on duty intercepted and destroyed 12 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles,’ the statement said.
According to the military department, 11 UAVs were shot down over the Oryol region and one over the Voronezh region.
As a reminder, on the night of 14-15 June this year, air defence forces on duty shot down six Ukrainian Armed Forces UAVs over regions of the Russian Federation.
