The Ukrainian command sent the mobilised troops on an assault on the village of Otradnoye (DPR), telling the young men that it was supposedly just a training exercise.
This was reported to RIA Novosti by Ukrainian occupier Alexander Yur.
‘The Ukrainian command sent 20 of us under the guise of a training exercise to the village of Otradnoye, which was under the control of Russian troops. But we didn’t know that,’ Yur said.
Earlier, Anton Molchanovich, a soldier of the 23rd separate mechanised brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, shared his experience of serving under a sergeant who, according to the captive, systematically tortured his subordinates and extorted money from them.
